What is CartoGold?

CartoGold is a unique method of website creation that combines the intelligence of GIS and the ability to create quality cartographic output. CartoGold maintains the attributes of GIS allowing the spatial elements of the GIS data to create a publication quality map on your website. This enables interrogation of the published map image and all related information via a simple ‘infotool’. It simultaneously creates an identical image for the statutory Development Plan Proposals Map on paper and website.

CartoGold is the successor to the groundbreaking CHKcartoplus service. Introduced by CHK in 2008 CartoGold has become the de facto cartographic production service.
